Named for it's shade-shifting color, it transforms from a soft lavender to a pleasing pale blue when soaked in hot water. We've found that the best way to prep your sponge is to run it under the faucet, while simultaneously squeezing it, until it doubles in size. Once it's puffed up significantly (think: the way your pants fit post Thanksgiving), give the sponge one final squeeze to remove any excess water.
