Beauty Influencers Are Sharing Their Best ‘Dupe Faces’—Here’s What It Means

You’ve heard of slugging, everything showers and milk nails. Enter the newest beauty craze taking over TikTok: “dupe faces,” i.e. applying a full face of makeup using only budget-friendly versions of popular luxury products. And the verdict is in: It’s possible to replicate a $200 face of makeup for under $65, thanks largely to NYX Professional Makeup. Beauty influencer Caroline Manning applies her “dupe face” for brunch with girlfriends. She uses NYX products—which are all vegan and cruelty-free, BTW—for a flawless look that’s less than $50 total.
