Meet the glycolic peel: A single-use wipe that’s packed with exfoliating acids to brighten and clear your skin in a few swipes. Nearly everyone can benefit from incorporating one into their routine, and yet, it’s still a fairly underutilized product. Luckily, there are some pretty great options to choose from. We picked three we swear by (with price and Prime shipping in mind).

first aid beauty facial radiance pads

Editors' Pick: First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads

The Facts:

  • Formulated for sensitive skin
  • Made with a blend of lactic and glycolic acids
  • Doesn’t have any parabens, sulfates, phthalates, synthetic dyes or fragrances

If you’re new to the world of chemical exfoliation or your skin is easily irritated, these gentle peel pads are a great place to start. Each one is saturated in glycolic and lactic acids that gently dissolve dead skin, while aloe and cucumber water soothe and hydrate. Yin meets yang, if you will.

nip and fab glycolic fix night pads

Best Value: Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Night Pads Extreme

The Facts:

  • Formulated with 5 percent glycolic acid
  • Also has lactic, salicylic and hyaluronic acid
  • Creates a smooth surface for makeup

To quote Biggie: If you don’t know, now you know. This U.K. import has long been a cult favorite for keeping pores clear and skin silky smooth. Its fanbase spans across all ages and countries. Reviewers swear they do everything from clear up keratosis pilaris (aka the little bumps on the backs of your arms) to deliver next-level glow. And at just under $10 for 60 pads, they’re the great equalizer of glycolic peels.

cane and austin miracle pad

Splurge-worthy: Cane + Austin Miracle Pad

The Facts:

  • Made with 30 percent glycolic acid that’s derived from sugar cane
  • Helps fade sun spots and smooth fine lines
  • Contains witch hazel and salicylic acid to clear pores

The first time we used these pads in our mid-20s, they helped us through a particularly bumpy patch of cystic acne. The second time we used them in our late 20s, they faded the dark spots left behind from said acne. And now, in our 30s, they are keeping our skin in a state of happy, glowing equilibrium. Admittedly, they’re pricey (but it helps to swipe them over your upper arms and the soles of your feet to really squeeze every last drop from each pad).
