The 61-year-old is killing it

It’s official: Demi Moore has arrived at the 2024 Met Gala.

Tonight, stars gathered at the Metropolitan Museum of Art for the annual fundraiser, where they honored the Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion theme with a “Garden of Time” dress code—and there were some astonishing looks. Moore, 61, walked the tan carpet in a stunning dress by Harris Reed, which—wait for it—is made from wallpaper (according to People magazine).

The gown featured a floral pattern set against a black background, along with an accentuated silhouette that drew attention to her hips. It also had embellished sleeves that resembled butterfly wings, complete with arrow-like details pointing in every direction.

Moore arrived at the event alongside Reed, who wore a similar ensemble. But instead of black and pink, Reed’s ensemble was blue and gold, and it featured a bird-inspired pattern.

This year’s theme was inspired by the Anna Wintour Costume Center’s “About Time” collection. Curator in Charge Andrew Bolton told Fashionista, “Throughout the years, [we've had] exhibitions where we try to reawaken costumes in our collection—usually conceptually, by interpretation and by juxtaposing historical and contemporary garments side by side to mutually inform and enliven each other. But for this one, we wanted to literally reawaken the costumes.”

Zendaya, J.Lo, Bad Bunny and Chris Hemsworth served as the official Met Gala co-chairs alongside Vogue’s Anna Wintour. The honorary chairs were TikTok CEO Shou Chew and Loewe creative director Jonathan Anderson.

61 and looking fabulous.
